Further claims the “internet” is a hoax.
By: Al BeebackShelby, OH – In Donald Trump’s latest rally promise to the rust belt, he swore to bring back door-to-door encyclopedia salesmen jobs that the Obama administration destroyed. When further questioned about this promise in a recent interview with Lester Holt, Trump had some interesting responses:
Lester Holt: “People don’t use hardcover encyclopedias anymore. If people need information now, they get it from the internet.”
Donald Trump: “The ‘internet’,” Trump says as he makes air quotes with his tiny hands, “is a hoax invented by the Chinese. It’s fake. Sad!”
Lester Holt: “OK. Well, people don’t buy stuff from door-to-door salesmen anymore. When they want to buy something, they go to Amazon.com, which is on the internet.”
Donald Trump: “Look, I just re-tweeted a great article from Breitbart News talking about how encyclopedias are the biggest source of jobs in the 20th century. And Barack Obama fired all of those good people. We are going to put them back to work.”
Lester Holt: “So, an article that you read on the internet? And re-tweeted on the internet?”
Donald Trump (looking befuddled): “Crooked Hillary! Emails! Lock her up! Sad! Covfefe.”
In related news, after this interview aired many people had to Google the word “encyclopedia”.
