Monroe, UT - On Tuesday, December 13th, 2016, a journalist, Ima Rider, attempted to research and write a satirical article about how "Trump Says a Truth", but couldn't find any examples where Trump actually said something that was true. Rider explains, "I wanted to write a funny article about how Donald Trump said something that was actually factual. You know, since he basically lies all the time. If he said something true, that would be funny. For example, 'Donald Trump Congratulates 2016 World Series Champs, Chicago Cubs.' Everyone congratulates the World Series champs. I was going to write an article about how it was fact-checked and that the Chicago Cubs actually did win the World Series and that Trump had said something that was true."
But, alas, Rider could not find any such example. In fact, Rider could not find any recent examples of Donald Trump saying something truthful, backed up with actual facts. Rider found that Trump is a chronic orange liar and that it is very difficult to find examples where he actually told the truth.
In a funny twist, while Rider was doing research, she found that Trump actually has a contemptuous relationship with the Chicago Cubs organization and he would never congratulate them on winning the World Series. On February 22, 2016, 6:42 AM, Trump tweeted "I hear the Rickets family, who own the Chicago Cubs, are secretly spending $'s against me. They better be careful, they have a lot to hide!" In March, he went on to say that Cub's management was doing a "rotten job". Well, they showed you, Donnie Boy, by winning something called “The World Series.”
