Washington, D.C. – Republicans are running out of excuses for defending the abhorrent behavior of their friends and colleagues in the GOP, particularly with their horrific treatment of women. What will be the excuse tomorrow? It’s anyone’s guess:

Only one accuser? It can’t be true. There’s no pattern.

Oh, multiple accusers now? It’s obviously a smear campaign.

She was drunk. It was her own fault.

He was drunk. He didn’t know what he was doing.

Boys will be boys.

It was such a long time ago. What boy hasn’t tried to assault a woman at least once in their life?

What happens at Georgetown Prep stays at Georgetown Prep.

Locker room talk.

I didn’t do it. My evil twin did it while I was attending bible study.

But what about [fill in the blank of someone else who has mistreated women]?

Meh… He probably did it, but I don’t really care. I’m voting for him anyway.
