A local story.
By: Woody McBoatfacePort Boatland, WA – Yesterday I was shopping at QFC and ran into yet another frustrated customer who couldn’t find what she was looking for. She was searching for tartar sauce in the condiment isle. It was nowhere to be found. Why would a condiment be in the condiment isle? That’s ridiculous. Lo and behold, it was on a gondola beside the seafood section.
Another frustrated customer was searching for pepperoni in the deli meat isle. “Does this store not sell pepperoni?” thought the customer. It was in the produce section beside the pizza crust. Ok, I sort of get the fact that pepperoni was near the pizza crust. But in the produce section?
After getting several complaints about product placement and rearranging, QFC management has finally come up with a great solution. They will arrange everything alphabetically! The Doughnuts will be in the same isle as the Dog Food. Cereal and Cat Food. Bananas and Beer will be together. Condoms and Condiments. It makes perfect sense!
