Houston, TX – On Thursday morning, Donald Trump tweeted, “I alone just won Super Bowl LI in a landslide victory. One million, probably more like two or three million were in attendance!”

Before heading to the podium to face the media, Sean Spicer face-palmed himself and was heard whispering to himself, “Jesus, tap dancing Christ, not again!”

CNN’s Jim Acosta questioned Spicer on the outlandish claim made by the president. “First, Super Bowl LI is scheduled for February 5th. It hasn’t even happened yet. Second, Donald Trump is not playing in it. It will be the Falcons vs. the Patriots, which are two football teams. It’s not an individual sport. And third, NRG Stadium in Houston can only hold 80,000 people. Donald Trump told a huge Super Bowl lie.”

Spicer responded, “When I heard President Trump won the Super Bowl, I was thrilled for him, as you should be. But then the media tries to delegitimize it. That is so demoralizing and frustrating! In President Trump’s mind, he won the Super Bowl, so it must be true.”

Later that day, when KellyAnne Conway was questioned about Spicer perpetuating Trump’s latest lie, she said, “Sean was just stating a (gulp) altered circumstance. Let’s just move on people. Nothing to see here.” When asked, “How do you sleep at night, KellyAnne?” She responded, “On a bed full of money.”
