Boca Raton, FL - On Donald Trump's latest victory tour stop, in Miami, Florida, he promised Floridians that he would thank them for electing him by "taking care of their alligator problem."

Trump claims that the Everglades is a "wasteland" and is "unleashing millions upon millions of alligators on Floridians." He plans to hire a gator investigator to assess the situation in the Everglades and he will "drain that swamp."

Environmentalist and animal activists are troubled. Florida environmental group "For Everglades" and animal rights group "Gator Aid" are teaming up with plans to protest and do what is necessary to stop Trump's plans from being carried out. Says one activist, "This is a croc! We cannot allow the Florida Everglades, a national treasure, to be destroyed. We must protect this beautiful land and the animals that live here."

In unrelated news, Ivanka Trump plans to debut her new alligator handbag and shoe line in early 2018.
