Unprecedented use of the Word “unprecedented”

One thing we can all agree on.

Pawtucket, RI – There is one thing that most people can agree on and that is the fact that the 2016 presidential election was unprecedented. The fact that a major party candidate won the election by insulting, berating, and threatening most Americans was unprecedented. And after he won, in what is supposed to be the honeymoon period of two months before officially being sworn in, in an unprecedented move, he spent that time kissing up to Russia, picking fights with other countries, questioning and insulting the intelligence agencies, and choosing an unprecedented number of billionaires for his cabinet picks with an unprecedented lack of experience in the field that they are chosen to lead. There are also an unprecedented number of conflicts of interest for the incoming president. For those reasons, the incoming president will be sworn in with an unprecedented, low approval rating – the lowest ever.

The use of the word “unprecedented” has been used an unprecedented number of times. Many people are sick of hearing the word “unprecedented”. “It’s really getting annoying,” says one man. “Can we please just have something normal?” he says.
