It’s about to get very, very bad.
By: Phil A. BusterWashington, D.C. – With the announcement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy upcoming retirement, frankly, women should be crapping their pants right now. Ladies, you better pick up a copy of Margaret Atwood’s, “The Handmaid’s Tale”, because that is where we are headed, for the next 40 to 45 years to come.
Trump will now get another Supreme Court pick, and quite possibly a third, during his term. Let’s be honest, the issue at stake is abortion. Make no mistake; abortion is not about protecting “babies”. Once those babies are born, breathing, and alive, the Republicans that fought so hard for their lives, think that they are not worthy of society caring for them. Make no mistake, those babies are part of the 47% that are “…dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it -- that that's an entitlement,” a direct quote from one of your current, major Republican leaders, who remains nameless… (Rhymes with Spit Slum Lee.)
Back to the point. Abortion is not about protecting “babies”. It is 150% about controlling women. The majority of Republican men see women as weak and inferior humans and they will continue to do whatever is in their power to keep women under control. This includes putting Supreme Court Justices in power that will control women, with law, for generations to come.
I leave you with this:
"I ask no favor for my sex; all I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet off our necks." – Ruth Bader Ginsberg (Notorious RBG)
And I would add for all you men out there:
Your precious guns, that you love so much, which kill all those “babies” that you love so much, are less regulated than my uterus.
